HCT Sun has commissioned a 252-kWp solar power project for a leading plastics manufacturer located in Thane, Maharashtra. The client, a manufacturer of moulding raw materials, had approached HCT to reduce its power costs as part of its overall cost efficiency plans.
Through HCT’s solutions, the client could reduce its electricity expenses without making any upfront capital investments. The client is also using HCT’s remote monitoring software to highlight its green power usage to its own clientele.
The solar power generated from the system will be equal to planting 4,005 trees per year, and will reduce emissions equivalent to 322 tons/year. The project was completed through elevated solar module mounting structures without puncturing the client’s roof areas.
