HCT Sun (India) has completed all installation and commissioning-related activities for its 80-kW solar PV plant in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The rooftop solar power generation unit was installed under HCT Sun’s OPEX model.
The client is an upscale commercial complex that wanted to lower their electricity costs. The property-owner was also keen to strengthen their green building ratings and their commitment towards environmental sustainability. Through the OPEX model, they were able to meet both these objectives without making any upfront capital investment.
The building – which houses offices of some large global multinational companies – will be using solar power to meet daytime electricity requirements for common area facilities.
