HCT Sun Installs a 700 kW Ground Mount Solar Project Near Gujarat’s Gir Forest

At HCT Sun, every project is more than just a solar installation—it’s a step toward a greener tomorrow, built with care, responsibility, and deep respect for the world around us. Our latest achievement reflects this most extraordinarily: the successful commissioning of a 700 kW ground mount solar project in Gujarat, is nestled near the iconic Gir Forest, home to the majestic Asiatic lions and leopards.

As our team worked on-site, they were frequently accompanied by the distant calls of wildlife and occasional glimpses of our curious neighbors—creating a truly one-of-a-kind working atmosphere that connects sustainability with nature in the most real sense.

This close proximity to such an ecologically rich habitat served as a powerful reminder of why clean energy matters—and why we must pursue it with sensitivity and care.

Understanding the ecological significance of the area, we designed and executed this project with minimum disturbance to the surrounding ecosystem. From the layout of the module rows to the route planning for logistics, every step was thoughtfully aligned.

This solar energy project will offset an estimated 608,862 kg, of CO₂ emissions every year—equivalent to planting nearly 18,167 trees annually.

At HCT Sun, we don’t just build solar projects—we build stories of impact.

And this one, near the roaring heart of Gujarat’s wilderness, is one we’re especially proud of.
